The one fact I'm absolutely sure of is this...
A quality PSU will give you the power you want when it's needed & last for years.

BUT, a cheap-O PSU not only won't supply the the power when needed, but will damage & take other HW components with it which ends up costing a small fortune in the replacement of said HW parts.

So for me there's no taking chances when it comes to the PSU that is expected to produce the "Quality" power that's needed to power all of my HW components so that they last a very, very long time.
There's never the chance of "Should be OK" going into my system.

The old saying still holds true here: Cheap in, Cheap out!

Case in point: I'm now going on over 2 years of steady everyday OCing of my system with no component failures.
Not to mention 6-8 hrs of gaming on my system daily! This includes OCing my graphics card while gaming.
