wrong there are 1.7ghz chips for 478, there rare as I said, they where OEM only and are not easy to come across, im a PC tech and have seen maybe 2 at most, but they exist, just like the 1.6 and 1.8 478 chips, but you are right the 2.2 celly can only be 478. Also to note doing some digging if the 1.7 is the rare oddball OEM 1.7 its also a northwood. so if its a P4 Socket 478 its faster than the celly. And no you wont find the 1.7 OEM chip anywhere such as wikipedia or even intels own list, kinda like a few other chips from both AMD and Intel that dont exist. Such as the AThlonXP for s754, though in truth these are semprons in ES form before the name was changed but a few ES AthlonXP Socket 754 do exist.
