No, I mean that if, by some chance, the game he has won't work on Windows 7, then he can still run it in XP mode as long as he doesn't have Windows 7 Starter or Windows 7 Home Premium. Those two editions do NOT provide the Windows XP compatibility mode and thus will NOT run older applications that won't run under Windows 7. AFAIK, most of the applications that won't run under Windows 7 are business apps, but it wouldn't surprise me if there are a few games that don't run as well.

In fact, a quick Google shows that there are indeed problems with running Lego Star Wars II on Windows 7. The information appears to be mixed, but it appears that you can run Star Wars II as Administrator ok (the problem appears to be with the stupid SecuROM DRM crap). There is also a patch available from the SecuROM people. Go to www.securom.com/support for more info.

Indiana Jones is supposed to be compatible out of the box.
