| Here's another way to measure this achivement.
Daniel Edgar now has eyes that see, hands that hold and a science lab that can tell me what my eyes have seen and my hands have held... On the distant planet Mars... So does evey single person on this far away planet Earth...
Everything my eyes see and hands hold will be recorded. Those yet unborn will touch as I have touched the Planet Mars...with such far away eyes we see the future...
We are exploring our UNIVERSE, not our continent, not even our world, we are exploring outside ourselves within our universe...this is how we are, this is what we choose to do.
We can see the science, but we miss much if we don't see what drives us to science...If we miss the human spirit unfolding and touching with distant wings upon another world, one not our own.
We are the Martians here! We will be the Martians once we arrive. What will humans be when we are not Earthlings?
This is as much a journey of the spirit as is a journey of hardware and gears that turn wheels, these things are just the means.
What the motive, from where does that arise? What is it seeking?
Humans are just so interesting....
