| I'm not totally sure because I havn't messed with it, but your chipset is what determines the kind of RAID capabilities unless you are doing a software RAID.
And... RAID 5 requires 3 or more identical hard drives.
Since I would only use it in a server, I would probably buy a SATA controller card and buy 5qty 500 Gig hard drives. If the card supports it, I'm sure Fedora supports it. |
