Ah Frank_G my boy, things be even better than we might of hoped! I've been in discussions with ET as to how EPoX and AOA Forums might best serve our (As you so rightly have pointed out) Very soon to be rapidly growing 64 bit membership... Given the enormity of the coming change ET felt that this might best be done in a new Topic. One he will participate regularly in, but also one that is NOT exclusively for EPoX Motherboards. THAT'S RIGHT! ET will help users get the most from their new 64 bit setups REGARDLESS of the manufacture! Anyone who isn't smart enough to understand just what an unprecedented move this is on ET and EPoX's part should probably leave now! ":O} EPoX is saying, pick what ever board you like and we will allow our Tech to help you out if he can!!! Dude's this should bring tears to our eyes! Once again EPoX has reach out to their users as no one else has even thought of doing!!! I'll be posting this front page in abit, (No pun intended.) The EpoX topic will remain as is with the rules reshaped by ET and I for clarity. The NEW 64 bit TOPIC will cover all aspects of 64 bit computing. We can seek software and plot hardware settings together. The 64 bit topic is open to users of 64 bit boards of every description. It will be a stand up no holds barred (All GENERAL forum rules still apply!) Topic for the masses! {That's us! ":O} Wait this is some kind of trick right? Well I can't speak for EPoX or ET here but I think so! You see I think EPoX believes that whatever board one has now, you'll remember who helped you the next time you buy a board... very tricky!":O}

![]() Okay here she goes. Couple of Maxtor 80 GB S-ATA-s , Maxtor 40GB IDE as boot drive, everything being recognised. Just going to do a full format and reinstall of W2K and Win 64 as a dual boot and we're set ![]() |

Dod, is that the 8HDA3+? You and bradmax57 could run some similar benchmarks and post them so we could see the comparisons? You've all got me looking at prices and reading reviews now! Laz |
