Post 2700 vs. 3200

On Nforce - 3 systems is there a noticable performance difference between PC2700 and PC3200?

Can you use the extra MHz difference in the PC3200 400MHz RAM to OC any 64bit Athlons? I haven't heard of anyone trying/succeeding @ an OC with a 64bit chip.. but then you have to know ppl, I have been away for somewhat too long from these knowledgeable forums & their staff.
Will the difference in speed be down to the chipset you are using the RAM on? Are you refering to dual data-rate configuration by any chance?
Or will the speed the RAM work at be more dependent on the FSB of the CPU? I understand that the best perf. gains will be had when the CPU fsb & the RAM work in sync (5-10% gains when you do this).

64bit chips OC very well I got a 200 MHZ stable gain with OC software on this laptop (170 X 11) just to see what it would do. Its running stock now because I find 2.2GHZ more than enough power.

I was just asking because 400MHZ FSB on the Athlon XP systems required having 400MHZ memory. I'm not sure how it works on these 64bit machines.
