OfficeXP and XP64

I can't get OfficeXP too run, it gives me an error report. I've tried disabling the error reports to see if that would work - but the util i was using hasn't affected it at all. All i need too use is excel, i've tried googling it but can't find anything of relevance. Does anybody know how i can fix this, or of an excel-like app that will run? All i want too do is lay out an FSM, i'm kind of wishing i hadn't installed XP64, i knew some things wouldn't work. But most people told me that the majority would, which doesn't seem to be the case.

My system specs if they are of any use:

Asus K8VSE Deluxe
AMD Athlon64 3400mhz
Radeon 9800 Pro 256mb
1gb System Ram

I haven't been able to find anything on this myself either. If I'm not mistaken, XP64 runs 32bit apps in some kind of 32bit emulator and office shouldn't be a problem(according to Microsoft). Have you tried updating your Office XP? I know they were up to like Service Pack 3 before I went to Office 2003. Give the updates a shot...
