| Yo Sup guys. im thinknig about building a new Pc and i think im gana go with 64-bit . But i dunno weather i should get Athlon 64 or Athlong 64 FX, i am also thinking of liquid cooling, anyone know where i can get some cool accesorries for that? have to look good since i am thinking of a clear case. Also is it possible to put Nitrogen liquid instead of water or will it freeze the whole thing? lol also.. PCI-E or AGP 8? Can i Do Dual Proccessors?

| I would stick with water cooling to start with. Chilling with liquid nitrogen is not easy and condensation becomes a problem with very low temps.

| Using LN2 as your primary coolant has a host of problems. The chief one has to do with pressure. LN2 expands a LOT when it changes from liquid to vapor. As a result, in an enclosed environment you can end up with an explosion. In other words, you need to either be able to guarantee that the liquid will never get above about -200°C, or you need to design you system to withstand about 1,000 PSI, or you need to allow it to vent the LN2 when the pressure gets too high.

| LoL. i really didnt understand all that stuff u said about the Nitrogen but.. i saw the word "explosion" and explosion in Pc is bad.. well any ways is there anything else i can use other than water? i wasnt some sort of liquid that would stay cool, picks up alot of heat, and looses heat fast. also any site recommendations for liquid cooling accessories?

| Pretty much any case will work for the comp, but you need to decide if you want the rig to be fully self-contained, or can there be some external parts? (water pump, rad, reservoir, etc.). If you want the thing fully self-contained, performance will likely suffer a little because you will be limited in the size of components you can make fit into the case. On the other hand, the unit will also be highly portable. The radiator is the component that extracts heat from the water and pushes it to the outside world. Usually this is a car heater core, although it can also be a transmission oil cooler or a purpose-built unit made specifically for computer water cooling.

| you will want a case with room for a 120mm fan at the rear as well as this is the best place to plonk the radiator Cases that have include most antec cases, the Akasa Eclipse-62, most Lian-Li (expensive), the Coolermaster Centurion 5 and AcoustiCase's I have an Antec Sonata and It's a pretty decent case for the price, it has a psu with it but it's only a 380W so if you're going for an a64 system with a good pci-e card you would need a more powerful psu than this. |
