Question AMD 64 S939 + ASUS A8V Deluxe

I just got the AMD S939 3000+ and the AUS A8V Deluxe but I am having some second thoughts on what RAM to get. Im thinking of the OCZ 512MB PC4000 Dual Channel kit for $220, any comments or sugestions?

I would love to but that is more money, what about PQI RAM? Their PC4400 kit is only $214.

pqi is generally 2.5-4-4-8 while others are 2.5-3-3-7, so keep this in mind.

whatever you do..don't go CAS3. Maybe for a p4, but not amd. the performance hit hurts, at least in my books. memory can make or break a system, when it comes to performance. I do alot of research before choosing my components...part of the reason i bench with machines 200mhz faster.

either of these 2 kits i would be more than happy with.

but if budget is a big consideration..then do what you have to. I prefer to wait a bit myself, especially when $40 can make all the difference in the world.
