Wink winxp not xp64

why is ever one trying to get winxp64 all right it's faster but u only have to read all the thread in this room to see that alot of people is haveing problams so i am going to buy a amd64 3800 and just run win xp for know as this sould be faster then my 3200xp

But XP64 is only beta if I remember well, so until the final version you can't make a fair comparison.

that why i am not going to use it for know as there could be problams trying to get it to work right i don't wanna pay out 1000 pounds only to have alot of problams!!!!

A) Please type properly, not in slang.. its really hard to understand
B) PUNCTUATION!!!
C) I dont exactly understand everything you said, but, from a guess, the answer would agree with hoinar's comment that it is a BETA and that no comparison can be made.. all the drivers (well, i'm guessing) are microsoft's own, and they are not optimized for different hardware types/chipsets.

as far as i understand it, XP64 is better so long as your hardware is supported by it and has drivers, and programs will only run faster that are optimised for 64bit, if its a 32bit program it may run marjonally slower, due to 32bit emulation routines

Lighten up offie! I'm not the most intuitive guy, but I had no problem understanding his post.
