Need Help lost product key

well i down loaded win xp pro x64 beta last month and finially got my computer together but lost the product key. yes i called MS and they say trial is over and won't give me a key. don't know why it is a timed software.

The actual product has been released now so no more trials will be available, you're gonna have to either find the key or buy the full thing. If you already have a win xp pro license then you are entitled to a free upgrade to XP64

Does this count for XP Pro that came with a...say...laptop from Gateway?

I think it covers oem versions as well yes, I've not read the information on the microsoft website though.

I've just got a copy of the full version, don't think my adsl modem works with it yet so I'm gonna have to install that on my parents system and share the internet from theirs, but I'll let you know what it's like.
