farcry 64

hi i have just done a fresh install of windows xp 64.
the only game i have on is farcry and the updates for 64 bit
im experinceing stop and goes when firing @ the enemies is this normal.

amd 64 3200 90nm
msi neo 2 platuim
1 gig of pc 2700 ram kingston
dvd writer
120 gig maxtor h\d
geforce 6600 gt 530\105
nforce drivers 64bit cant remeber the version.
everything esle seems ok so far.

it shouldnt be. But XP x64 edition is glitcy itself. Since you installed it on the windows xp, I think its probably something wrong in windows not farcry, because many ppl are able to play the 64bit version fine on the 32bit version of winxp pro/home.
