I'm not sure about this. I think I was killed in a German tank in North Africa during WW II. On the wrong side of the war. And then I volunteered for Viet Nam. Must insanity hold sway over two incarnations? I think I'm on the good foot now, took me long enough!

It was years before the jungle rot went away. It's a fungus on your skin that goes away when it's good and ready. Malaise, I know where it lives and try to stay out of the neighborhood. The Ken Burns documentary about WW II is a must see. I'm glad that he accomplished it while there are still veterans who lived it.

An amazing retelling of what we will probably never really understand, what each man/woman pays for the right to defend his/her country... I just keep thinking, "where is the learning curve in all this death and suffering?"
