We don't sell, trade or give any information to anyone about our Members that request one of our AOA case badges . After I put their badge in the outgoing mail I tear up the envelope they sent me and discard it. The only reason I ask Members to send me a Private Message is because I don't want to announce my grid coordinates to the world at large. I ask for a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope to avoid paying for one of them for everyone out of my own pocket.

Now this is hard core, ladies and gentlemen. But being put back on the block on a freezing night at 1:00 AM is CRUEL.

I'm lucky, my ISP filters about 95% of the dreaded lunch meat.

Why you're never too old for pron! As long as it's tasteful, of course. Wait a minute, pron, by definition isn't tasteful. Or is it? Beats me. Too clever by half.

What did Ed McMahon say all the time? It wasn't "whuh oh." Little help, please. Sure, that works.

Thank you very much! Crud, I can't remember the second banana sound he used to make. No, he's not getting a case badge. Maybe if he asked politely...

I used to wonder if he ambushed some of the talent on "Star Search," if I remember the name right. Probably not, he was a fairly straight shootin' kinda guy. I think.

A great musician, Lyle Lovett. I like the version of "That's right, you're not from Texas..." with Francine Reed the best. She adds the right flavor to this song, IMHO. "If I Had a Boat" is also a fave.

Once in a while the phrase "pearls befo," no, nevermind. You're just not that important, cloaca-to-stars. Meaning spanning our antecedents to our progeny. Or, like that there.

It will be the 40th reunion of my high school class this year. Yeah, I'm that ancient. Should I stay or should I go? Well.. I'm guessing that my herd will be thinned out if I wait for the 50th! Assuming I live that long...

I've been putting off a trip to New England to drink in the splendor of autumn there for a few years. Can't really afford to attend the reunion and make that trip too. Well.. it's nice to have the choice!

Leaning towards Vermont at this point. I had some very good high school friends but it's not like we stayed in touch. Fate intervened. They went to Berkeley and I went to Southeast Asia. That made me the black sheep. I wonder if they realized that they had the advantage of well heeled parents that were glad to pay for their education and or send them to Canada or Sweden?

Please, put your hat on, Strongwolf. The sun is mean in your neck of the woods! "Gratitude of princes" that's a good one, Dan! I'll try to remember this saying.

"Sailing, sailing, over the bounding Main.." What does "bounding" mean? Pretty sure that the "Main" was the route to Spain from the New World. Lots of gold and other plunder available for pirating. The Conquistadors were a respectful bunch, treating the Native Americans with restraint and even handedness. Just like we do today!
