There are exceptions. Sometimes a valuable piece of information will be brought here anonymously (like the recent tbred unlocking thread from another forum). It's very tough to differentiate between self promotion, etc.
It was obvious to several of us right from the get-go this was self promotion.
Nothing in your article couldn't be discussed or cut/pasted into a thread here. That was Daniel's point.
Just don't go away mad... I certainly understanding "leaving" as I have a couple forums myself due to members or rules or the conduct of administration... but just know coming back will always be welcomed as there's no ill-will on this side of things
