***damn. I let this account expire over 6 months ago. Now I get a bill for over $50 in May, and over
$230 in June. I shut off the site before the bill could get over $60 in July, but still, I'm ****ing pissed! Here's a quote from their TOS:
Quote:

And here's my nice email to them, on the 22nd. No reply to from them yet, so I think it's time to call in the MaximumPC Watch Dog, the Better Business Bureau, US Bank, and my lawyer.

According to my records, you suspended my old account, Th3Sp0t.com, in January 2002. I was happy with that as I had moved on to different things, so I did not reply to your email about it. It should still be suspended.
Suspended means nothing should happen to the account (IE: no users should be connecting to it!).
Although, this does not seem to be the case. It seems that someone is connected, posted a site, and has gotten tons of GB's of transfer. It is your companies fault that my account remained open, even after you disconnected it. Apparently someone at your company did not do as they should have. By leaving my account open, they allowed someone to get in there and get tons of transfer, and now you are charging me for May (about $55), for June (about $235) and you'll probably have charges for July also, all because of your mistake.
It is not right, that I pay you for your mistake, and I request that you reverse the charges to my credit card bill immediately. And please be sure and TURN OFF that old account, once & for all!
Thank you in advance.
