Surprisingly enough, this doesn't sound bad at all. Granted, can't do much with sorry donkey speakers, but I can actually hear things in Quake that I never heard before.
So, for the "What it's Worth" Dept. - If you're not an audiophile, save some bucks and try the onboard before you buy a card....
Buy better
ram, or a faster
cpu.
