Wow not bad is it?

Ok so i was boored yes2day and i found my XP1600+ that i didnt use. stuck it in my MSI Ultra2 and booted up! NOTHNG

then i reset the CMOS and booted up agen! it worked

set the FSB to 170 and Vcore 1.85 and DDR to 2.8 saved and it booted to my amazment :O so i enterd bios agen a few times played around and found a rock stable 171 FSB heres my fact sheet...

1800Mhz on the dot.... Not Bad!! (BTW ITS STILL LOCKED)

A friend came over yesterday... I tested his AGOIA 1600+ & Samsung 2700. ... Still locked, it got up to 178FSB rock stable. (USB went at 180) About 1875, with 1.8v!!!! I didn't even try 1.85v, but I think 1900 would be a no brainer after unlocking.

The only hard part for me was taking the CPU back out again to give it back. I offered a swap for my 1600+ +cash, but no deal . (his board isn't a good overclocker.)

well this CPU is an XP1600+ Agoia 4 i think or 9 cant remember!

ok updates:

So i got my Epox 8k3a+ 2day stuck it in and stuck my Kingston PC2700 with Tt cooling onto the mobo and booted up with the XP1600+
(STILL VERY LOCKED MY FRIENDS)

Should have used intimidation and brute force tactics, they usualy work
Next time when you have problems with convincing your friends to do smething, just let me know, some GESTAPO techniques and you'll get what you want
