| I've recently unlocked my XP1600+ with great succes. 1) I cleaned the L1 bridges 2) I taped around the gaps, and applied glue twice in the gaps, let it dry, and removed the tape. 3) Taped around one bridge at a time, adding silver lacquer to each one. Let it dry, and removed the tape. Voila! I tried using a wooden splinter first (to avoid all the taping) but it didn't work. Maybe because my hand wasn't steady enough, or maybe because I didn't take the time to apply a nice and thich layer... Good luck!! |

| I used this kit with real good results. It's completely removeable as well.

| It would probably be the fasted to use a wooden splinter or a pin to close the bridges, but you have to have a very steady hand in order to do it right. Good eyes are required as well. I think its a bit more safe using the tape, but it does take extra time. |
