Modded Bios?

Anybody know if there is a modified Bios for the MSI K7D Master that would allow me to set my FSB above 150? I know this must be possible since a few of the other AMD duallie boards support up to 255mhz FSB.

Or is there a way I could do this mod myself?

Thanks !

AFAIK, one can modify the micro code in a BIOS version. Whether one should do this depends on how knowledgeable you are!

I didn't look at it that way, but it makes sense to. I'm sure that a member or three know how to do this in their sleep. Yet I have no clue.

Cool heat

if you are having heat related crashes already, you need to attend to the cooling before you go any higher with the FSB anyway, yes???

higher FSB, even without more vcore=higher temps

as far as the FSB goes, you could always get a different M/B and start your clocking experience over with a board that has the choices you want.

good luck.

its only above 55c
at which point i cant stand to be in my room anyway.

I expect 1830 or so mhz is easily attainable.

I dont have the money for another board
