Exclamation what needed for xp2000@1.8ghz to get to 2.0ghz?

I have an xp 2000 @ 1.83ghz  current temps are up to 63 deg a v/core of 2.

but I am trying to get to 2.0 ghz. what is holding me back is it the temp of cpu 63ish measured at die.Hsf currently 60mm y-tech    80mm coming + 40mm fan for northbridge,.or is this just luck of the draw chip thing?

If I were you, I'd think about getting those temps down.

too much voltage,is making your temps way too high.
i wouldnt advise over 1.95 vcore on air at all.
over 50c and the temps are outa control in my books.its a diode reading so its accurate somewhat.

if u want 2ghz its gonna be a struggle big time.
first off u need to drop the vcore to at least 1.95v
then get better cooling.only h20 and better will run 2v safely.
all this just to stay at your current speed.

unless u are gonna investing watercooling or something even better.id be looking into a better chip.
1800 tbred
2200 tbred should get you 2 ghz on air.or even a 1600 agoia will.

or just plunk down some moolha on a 2400 its 2ghz stock.and cheaper than H20.

"edit"wooohoooo i can edit my posts now ty someone as i always catch many mistakes in my posts.
