if it quits out at the end just read the pi.txt file in the prog dir, as it saves the output there

[edit] the batch file should say 'pause' at the end, then it shouldn't quit

thankx for the reply.

Let me make it a little more clear for you guys.

What you see in the screenshot in the piFastV41 is what everything showed. There are:

Series Computing Time:

Division Time:

InvSqrt Time:

That's it.

Don't get in the idea that I paused the benchmark without finishing it just because one guy in here said I didnt' finish it. It was finished There is no more, no other numbers show up after I captured the screenshot. I've been doing this for few years on this particular proggie.

I think would be better to use what Galifrey suggested to use. I ain't gonna rely on comparing scores with different versions of piFast. Can Galifrey or anybody here tell me how the hell do you run Hexus piFast.rar????? That's all im asking.... it seems like the installation program is incomplete. I need a full package. Full installation that contains all the files necessary.

don't worry, not calling you a cheat

after you've run pifast, pi.txt should be 13,104k in size, as it contains the 10million digits you've just calculated.

if you quit out of pifast before the end pi.txt will only be 1k, and just contain the header info like you listed below

I never called you a cheat bro.....lol - I just said it wasn't finished. It hadnt done final computing.
You need to open it with winrar or winace ( winace opens anything) google will tell ya.

Good luck.

here it is...

i didn't get it from thechimpcage, but exactly the same version & .bat file etc. had to re-zip as the forum won't allow attaching RARs

the chimpcage one just has this difference in the readme.txt
Code:
Hexus Pifast
------------

Run hexus_pifast.bat :)

Submit your times to KAIN @ http://www.thechimpcage.com/pifast/

Remember to post your info and times on Xtreme!

http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...&threadid=3694
the one from hexus has a slightly different .bat that doesn't have 'pause' at the end, though the .exe is still v4.1
Attached Files
File Type: zip hexus_pifast.zip (159.2 KB, 10 views)

cool, you're scoring faster now - good to see you've tweaked some more since the first screengrab . it just wasn't adding up before for some reason...

Jen I've removed your signature. If this is a joke you should indicate that it is, if it's not then you should find another means of communication.
