1700+B and 2100+B

well, from our favorite EGG place:

several got there 1700+ "DUT" T-bred B today with a JUICB step
even though they aren't officially listing them yet "says DLT3C"

=============================================

and looks like the 2100+ may be the B also
quote (Tuesday):
"Got my XP2100 tbred today
Well, I got it, and a friend and I, with his crappy ******, did a few test runs. Changed the multi to 15 by bridge cutting/closing, and pumped 2vcore into it. Ended up with 2478 mhz stable for 3Dmark loops once. 2400 is stable on prime so far. I'll post pics when he gets online. Temps @ full load = 43C.

Stepping - AIUHB 0251"

AIUHB wk51
i assume it's a "DUT" B also 'cause it's doing 2550mhz @ 2v on air
800+ o/c (guess there won't be a 2100+ T-bred A ?)

I ordered a 1700+ over the weekend. I would have preferred waiting until the TbredB's were out 'en masse', but I fried a damn good AGOIA... and couldn't wait. I'll let you know how she clocks when it comes in.

Thanks for the info, my AGOIA 1600 is running right along at 171x10.5 XP2200+ speeds. I wanted to get a bump of 1000 in speed rating, so I need to run the new one around 2.4 gig. Hopefully my alpha a 8k3a+ will get me close. I am waiting on the igp nforce 2 from Epox. Integrated video is fine for the wife and daughter after the hand me down. My son and I are the gamers Fedex tracking says it hasn't moved since yesterday

SteveI: at least you had control over your AGOIA's destiny

small consolation, but consider that i heard at some point that all 1600+s coming out of NE were AGOIA, so i sold mine (running 1975mhz@only 158fsb - highest i had yet tried, it was so new) to my friend (AGOIA Y 0213) and yes the new one was an AGOIA but it was a 0224 9 and wouldn't go over 1750mhz, argghh!

which is why i got a 2100+ too MR. T, also free shipping (mine is in Indianapolis right now), i think Fed-ex reports saver, late at night 11-12 est your time (impatiently taps fingers). i'm on a really tight budget. five more bucks and i can get hyperX.

sorry, but i'm just not buying this JUICB 1700+ is same same tbred "A". it might look like it, replacing it in a system that has moderate air cooling, but this one is all about cooling. if there are no weak points in a system, i.e., hot NB (or SB), bargain memory, generic PSU, than that extra layer in the t=Tbred B comes into it's own the cooler you can get it. already a prometeia is getting 2.6ghz and an upper end h2o is getting 2.4ghz with the JUICB. coming from 1.73, i think that's just amazing! anytime i get 300mhz or more o/c i consider that well done. most are getting at least 2ghz on moderate cooling.

that's my story and i'm sticking to it ~

From what it seems like here in finland...

JIUCB 1700+ and 1800+ seem to be AIUCB processors that did'nt cut it to be 2400+ processors. People have been getting them up to 2.3ghz on air, but generally it's around 2.1-2.2 ghz. (good air cooling)

AIUHB 2100+ processors seem like they are alot better. With good air cooling, people have been going up to 2.3ghz with stock voltage.

I don't have the exact specs but I'll check it later. Mine maxed out at 1750 @ 1.85v, and was running 1820 or so @ 1.95v. So as far as AGOIAs go, it was a dog... but still the 2nd fastest CPU in my house.

Fedex says mine is on the truck for delivery, (one day early).
I'll post codes tonight. I'm going to put it in a 8K3A for testing purposes... If necessary, I'll pull my SK7 to see what she's capable of... I have every intention of pushing it to the limit. But I will start slow. I don't think I could take it if I lost 2 good CPUs within a week.

Just opened the BOX AXDA2100DUT3C AIUHB 0248MPMW Now to install it. Back later. This is the only time I don't like the security of the MB passthrough heatsinks. Got to remove everything to install a processor.

Well the 1700+ came... but due to my screwed up memory situation, I won't be able to test much for a while.

As a teaser, it is a lowbredB after all:

Hold the phone... I couldn't help it. I'm taking one of my crippled systems and try to test this mutha... default it 1.6v 11x133... she's getting into windows @ 11.5x166 = 1900mhz with just 1.65v. I'm stress testing now and it's holding together. I'm reading 61c on my 8K3A w/ nov bios. It's hot, with a crappy Glite HSF...

If it takes any more speed well... I'll have to switch to my system... It is the only one I think I can push over 2 ghz with. For a "J" bred, she's doing real good so far.

Sorry about the edits and deletions... I can't seem to change pics on edits.
Here's a pic.

SteveI, I think you might have one hell of a chip there!

Seems the chip likes a bit of voltage. Running 2815 bios on 8k3a+, it didn't recognize proper voltage of 1.65. Shows up as 1.6v. It wouldn't run through 3dmark at 13x170 at 1.7v, but jumped it to 1.8 and it ran fine at 13x172, now to bring it up slowly. Max voltage I am willing to run is 1.85 volts on air. I will give it a day for the AS3 to performa a little better then start ramping it up.

Update. Tried 178x13 at 1.8v, no go in 3dmark. 178x13@1.85v completed 3dmark, but not completely stable rebooted playing cfs3. Dropping it down to find max stable speed. Maybe I should try the new bios update? The 2815 bios really puts a whammy on the memory. I am running twinmos pc3200, 2x256 and it crapped out in sandra at 2.8 volts. More sperimenting.

Nah... nothing that spectacular... I moved it to my main rig.. unfortunately vcore max's out at 1.85v... I seem to be topping out at 12.5x167... 2088..

I can't complain too much, only a 600+mhz overclock, for $51.
I might put it back in one of my 8K3A's with my SK7 to see if she wants more juice.

In the meantime, I'll keep stressing it out. 3d mark is stable.
At 170fsb, it can't even load windows.

All good results... Keep pushing 'em. The first few weeks is when they develope their penchant for running at higher speeds.

Just wish I could get a hold of one of these AIUHB 2100+s. I like gettin' good steppings.......(BIG SIGH)

Quick update.... not completely stable after all. I decided to take a more conservative route.. I just don't have time to sit and baby sit my machine right now. I slowed it down to 1950, and will run it that way, until the weekend at least .

EDIT: I just remembered... the CPU does not appear to be fully unlocked. I didn't look at the bridges, but I'll look at my pic when I get home... 11 is default, but if I select 12, it shows up as 11. 12.5 works. This is on both my AT7 & 8K3a. It wasn't a big deal while I was rushing to get it up and running, but now it bothers me... I'll look into it more closely over the weekend and check all multipliers.

brilliant oc there m8! that's about 3 over 2.5Ghz now. after the wave of orders for this new 2100B chip comes in, it's going to be interesting to see the OCs. i hope most can make the climb past 2.4Ghz.

Brand new install of 2100+ ( AIUHB - week 48) on a brand new 8RDA on a brand new harddrive.

XMS 3200C2 512*2

Running at 205*11 1.625volts

Transferring some files off a slave drive right now - need to delete a partition on there. But then back in for more fun.

Got mine at newegg. They are out now, but expecting more on Tues 1-21.

www.pcnut.com is expecting some on Tuesday, and are guarenteeing they are AIUHB
