8RDA+ and Hard drive probs.

I was wondering if some one could help me understand something please.

I've been messing about with the FSB and started, occasionally, at 215 to get messages on booting up that windows couldnt load because of a file being missing or corrupted. Fair enough. Backing off let me boot up fine, no error messages.

My question is, given that I believe that it has been confirmed that the PCI bus is locked at 33 why do you still get this sort of error? Is it because everything else is running so quickly that the HDD cant supply the info quick enough or whats happening?

Probably memory errors which then results in corrupt files being written to the hd.

No problems.. I encountered the same errors when I tried running my pc2700 memory at 205 FSB.. I even had to re-install Windows because some files couldn't be recovered.. bummer..

So I'd recommend using Ghost that came bundled with the board if you want to play around with high fsb..
