Could you describe the sound? You mean the internal speaker emitting a series of beeps? Is the board functioning OK? Usually those "beeps" are an indication something is wrong. There's actually a DOS guide which describes what specific series of beeps indicate. Although I've never actually referenced it. If the board's functioning, yet it's still emitting some "noise" it's important to determine the source of the sound by first determining if it's emanating from the internal speaker, or your sound system? Perhaps your soundcard, or other card is in a PCI slot shared by another device, this would be clearly described in your manual. Read the manual, and see if any steps in your installation process may have been done incorrectly, or may be causing a conflict. Does the board have an "overheating" monitor, which may be the source? Did you install the CPU yourself?
