Talking abit NF7-S V1.2 vs epox 8RDA+ V1.1

:-D Just replace my 8rda+ rev 1.1 mobo with an abit NF7-S v1.2
and my first impresions are excellent. Now running 11x220 rock stable and going up. With 8rda+ Modded it was impossible to pass 201fsb stable. I hope that epox with the new 8rda3+ it will make the big surprise.

If you can do 220MHz FSB sync now, do you really need more ?
Maybe the 8RDA+ with C1 NB stepping or NF7-S rev. 2.0 will do the trick, but it's all a matter of luck.

Yeah, more is always nice, but then again I don't know how much money this "art" is worth.
Changing boards every week just for an extra 5MHz FSB is not free of charge, is it ?

Darn! You're get an extra 5MHz? I'm struggling to manage an extra 1MHz. I think I need to buy some of that super expensive static RAM to really make the most of it.

I was just saying, not even 5MHz are worth the trouble and money of upgrading the motherboard, at least for me.
OK, overclocking is fun, it has a very well defined purpose, but too much OC is really useless.
Unless, of course, you want some bragging rights or you use the PC for folding and such all day long.

I can do also 12x250 but can't run 3dmark. Maby NB holding me but i'm not going to do any vdd mod waiting for a newer bios.
And i think never is to much for overclocking, because it just fun.
Here they are and some pics..
