how shall i solve this

I've just bought 8RGA+, 2x 256 twinmos & a new 1700+.

Installed the system yesterday and it seemed to work fine.. But today when I should install another hdd it wont start. I push on the power button but its dead. As I said, I have started it before with no problems.
I changed PSU and it worked..
But now to the real problem.

I have two PSUs, one from my chieftec witch I've used for the "first-start" of the system. And one from my older machine with 8KHA+. The chieftec PSU is on 340w and the noname is on 300w.
The chieftec wont work with my 8RGA+ anymore but it works on my older machine. So its not burned or something. The noname pws works on both machines.

I'm affraid of using the noname PSU in my new system, because i dont want to "half-broke" that too

Another thing is that the hddlamp and fancontroller-lamps turns on when the PSU is on. Even when the comp is not on.. weird
Or shall it be like that on the 8RGA+?

Have I missed something?

What nforce drivers and stuff shall i have to make it right?

please help me

If you want to be sure NEVER use noname PSU....
You must spend some money and take a GOOD PSU and believe me this will be the last thing you will change on a future Upgrade...

Take an ANTEC true power 480W and make any OC you want cause this PSU have a lot of power to give you....

In the past i saw many users with damaged mobos / CPU after PSU burn...

Sorry but sometimes extra money can save you......

Dimitris.....

Bad PSU can kill your board and other components.

Id go out and buy something decent.

If your not sure what to get post a link here before you buy.

Personally I use a sparkle 400, antec truepower are good as are TTGI if your on a budget.
