| Which cpu will oc better, or is best for price/performance? Looking for a cpu that will either replace my 2.5ghz 1700+, or go into a second system i'm building. I'm running an abit nf7-s 2.0 and twinmos 3200 that is doing 227fsb duel channel sync 2,2,2,3. I'm looking for a cpu that will do at least 2.5ghz hopefully. Both systems are gaming comps so I would like to get a barton for sure.

| Best price/performance is the 1700 T-Bred. You'll pay less than $50 and probably get around 2400Mhz.

| Thx but like I said above I already have a 1700+ that does 2.5 but need another for a second gaming system and would prefur to get a barton. I would like one that has a chance of beating the performance of my 1700 and be able to run around 225-230fsb.

| actually yesterday before I bought these cpu's I was thinking of getting a 2800+ and 1 WD raptor sata drive, or the 2500+ and 2 of the raptors for raid 0. Might still get the hd's though and sell the slower of the 2 1700's, maybe i'll keep 2 of them  .
