Katrina's(or Corrina's as the Frist Lady said) devastation may never be put right. Your donation to an organisation that's hard at work in the 'combat zone' is needed. Caution, choose the charity carefully, suck butts are cashing in on this tragedy.

Just for a moment, let's posit that there is no afterlife. AFAIK, not one person died then came back to tell us about what lies beyond the final curtain in the form of a "spirit." People who were declared dead, yet came to their senses after what seemed a long time don't count--they came back. No insult intended to anyone's religious beliefs, and the concept of an afterlife grows more attractive as one gets older.

When I realize the unbounded evil that powerful people do to the rest of us every day I scream silently for justice. But very many completely evil people are never called to account for the misery they heap on the 'little people.' If there's no justice to be had on Earth, and none levied by a deity after death... This is an ugly picture.

Cheer up, an AOA Forums free case badge is just the ticket!

"Hey." I love this modern way of saying hello. It's warm and personal, like a burst of white noise. It is a declaration saying that "it's all about me, me, me." Self interest rules most of my waking hours. Sometimes I have to force myself aside to listen to other people. Sometimes I can't, or more likely won't. Beause I'm so important.

Six billion people, I'm one of them. One of them.

Become more important! Send a Private Message to me or dod, you'll have have an AOA case badge of your own in just a few days.

We're all exactly the same in our basic humanity. But our personalities differ from the proverbial crowd's. Are we each unique? Not as much as we like to think, I'm guessing that we are almost or completely duplicated by another person on the planet, if not ten thousand of them. These people won't look like us--maybe.

How does that comforting saying go? Oh, yeah: You can be replaced!

Don't replace your computer's case, just make it better! Send a Private Message to dod in Sunny Scotland or cloasters in the Sunny Pacific Northwest. It's easy to get your own AOA case badge.

Hey Cloasters any way of getting these case badges to New Zealand?

Everyone I meet here is unique - infact sometimes everytime I re-read the same post they seem unique

Or maybe its the blue ones, or was it red today????.....

Anyway yes everyone here is unique, each in their own special way.

My special way is the blue ones well I think they are blue

People have problems with pills--in far off New Zealand? Gasp! Must the antipodes lose their charm? Sheesh, I thought that life in New Zealand must be close to perfect. Sigh, another image shattered.

Rondog see above, but I personally like Australia, just find it has 1 flaw....

Its full of Aussies

Seriously, both a sweet place to live, especially if you are into Rugby , there isn't much difference between Australians and New Zealanders, and we do seem to get along, except for sports where we are both out for each others blood!
