Summer seems to have deserted us in the great Pacific Northwest. 59F with a high of 66 forcasted for today. Beats a high of 38F, that's for sure. | I got a laptop for my birthday, lucky me! They require getting used to and this one is pretty slow. I didn't want to pay another ~$500 for a Dual Core, I thought that a Pentium M 1.7 with one Gig of RAM would be a little faster. Oh well, it's always something. Buy war bonds!

| Having their parents, they'd have to be messed up. Mommy is a murderer, daddy is a multiple murderer. It's somewhat surprising that they don't follow the family tradition. I know, give them time. Everybody raves about Jenna, I think that Barbara is much better looking. Last I heard, one Congressman had a kid that's in Afghanistan or Iraq. One out of five hundred or so--they're happy to make war with other people's children. Sick, sick, sick.

| Management decided that thirty years of tap water packed with brown sludge and chunks, that's right, chunks of rust was enough inconvenience for the residents. They installed galvinized steel piping when the building was constructed. Generous to a fault. So, all the water pipes in the building are being replaced with copper. This is nice. However, living through the noise and inconvenience rather bites. This morning I woke up to the noise of drilling through the wall behind the vanity and sink. My apt. front door was wide open. Oh joy! Argh. I hope that our case badges make it through these trying times unscathed! In the chance that they won't, order your's right now!

| I worry about what's going on behind me when I wear headphones. Hate to be blind to the rear. I don't understand how people wear headphones when they walk or jog. | One of the guys I ride bikes with does that.  No way I could deal with not hearing traffic around me while out on the road. It's hard enough to avoid the road-rager's with 2 good ears!OK peeps - order yer case badges, then go ride yer bike!!
