The haunting thing.. I think I know what you're talking about. Unfortunately, plebian tunes can get caught in my cobwebs too. Her duet with The Band of "Evangeline" is a good one. It's very difficult to find any bad music she participated in. Wish I could say that about me. Of course I wasn't professional caliber!

"Rough and Rocky" can stay with you very well, something about the tremolo being set just right. "Tulsa Queen" really sticks to your ribs too. "The Hot Band" was named truly, those guys were great. I would have almost killed for an official band jacket. But why? I couldn't wear it, no way! Happy New Year, may it bring welcome changes to us all!

Now that it's not New Year's Day the truth can be told. It's recessionville and it's going to be a bad year for many people. Plant that victory garden when it gets warm enough, it'll come in right handy. But what about the left handed folks?

Isn't 2010 the cut off date beyound which Over Clocked Computers will not boot without an AOA badge?...I think I read that some where or just made it up...

AFAIK Steam, the band from Florida had only one hit. But what a hit, listening only to the instruments it's an all time classic. Funny how great music is timeless, IMO.

To be fair I must say that Congress sold our tushes down the river too. The "little people" have NO representation in D.C. The only way this can change is to have publicly financed elections. I read that the lobbyist lobby is against this. Quelle surprise.

If one is paid well for advocating for policies that enrich the few at the expense of the many, how does one look in the mirror without flinching? Talk about needing a 21st century Robin Hood.

O'Jays, that was. How much is that in American dollars? Rhodium is at $7100, and gold at $927. It's not that the precious metals are so expensive, it's just that the dollar is so weak. Not quite time to collect hundreds of pounds of foodstuffs with a long shelf life, but we're getting there.
