w00t frickin w00t! shipping DLT3Cs (1700+) for $41

1700s shipping are DLT3C $41

I had ordered 2 cpus ( and another 8rda+ ) from newegg.
I thought they'd be the DUT3C type, just got one 3 or 4 weeks ago for $43.

Imagine my surprise when I opened the box, and was looking at them. First thing I noticed was the core was real dark, almost black.

Then I got out a magnifying glass and noticed they were week 19 JIUHB DLT3Cs. Then, being curious bout the color of the core, I looked at the last 3 numbers 041 and 045. Thats good, that is very early in the batch run.

These could be very, very good chips. Early in the batch is good. Dark core is good. The week 19's are known to OC well.

$41

Ordered these Sunday, they came in today.

Thanks, Allan. Yea, I posted on them pretty much as a"public service" announcement. Just in case others may be interested.

I just got one of these from SVC and posted about 3.5 weeks ago. Had to pay $59.99 ( plus shipping! ). These, from newegg, are free shipping, and for me at least, choice chips in terms of where in the batch they were. They weren't advertised as DLT3Cs, just generically, as 1700+ TBreds. Indeed, the last 1700+ TBred I got from them a month or so ago was a DUT3C. That is what I thought I'd be getting. Glad to be so pleasantly wrong!

I couldn't say that for sure...

I know a guy got a tBred (1700 ) the day before, a DUT3C.

Guess we won't know for sure until others report in.

I'll let you know how these chips go when I get to them.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Right now, my main concern is bringing a dead NF7-S rev 2.0 board back to life.

Was fine at 223 MHz X 11; tried 228 x 10.5 and now it is dead. Ordered a new BIOS, and even that won't bring it back to life? Jeez. Gonna try a few things, eliminate a few things and if I can't get it going, its going to Abit. I bought an old 100 MHz Duron 600, gonna try that to see if it will revive the board. If that don't get it, I'll have to check individual parts ( RAM,etc. )

Have that new 8RDA+ as a replacement to get the system backup during the RMA process ( if it comes to that ). If not, and I can get it going, it will be replace my KT7A-R.
