Current draw on bartons

I'm not worried about the accuracy or otherwise of MBM5 as this is just a relative measurement here. This is simply an observation.

I was running an XP1700 at 1.9/1.925 volts on a sparkle 400W PSU. Via MBM 5 the 5V line always used to show about 5.19 to 5.21 Volts.

With an XP2500 at 1.8Vcore the 5V line is now flickering between 5.08 and 5.13V. (the 12V has increased as well)

Has anyone else seen this or can anyone confirm that the barton's do actually need more power than the tbreds?

Thanks in advance
