One of my projects for today

MSI KT3V mobo. I removed an 1800 Pali and replaced it with a 1700 Tbred and CoolerMaster HeatPipe hsf.

No, it holds a small fan. I think it's a 40m. Very small.
The fan that came with it was extremely loud, so I replaced it with onre the same size that I already had.

Hmmmm...40mm fan?! My Silent heatpipe has a 1500RPM 60mm fan. Very silent and doesn't do a bad job (see sig for OC) although it only moves 16cfm!

Laz, it could be a 60mm, but I don't think so.
It doesn't seem to doing very well anyway. 57C..
I may have to switch it out.

edit- then again, I just checked one of my other towers and it's running 61C. Warm day. I think I'll just keep an eye on the heatpipe temps.

Ambient temps are murder this time of year, I've had to back off the over clock on two of my three boxes, and one is water cooled!

So give it a chance LP you may still have a serviceable setup. Just my 2 cents...":O}

It's all copper. Very nice looking, although I did find out the copper is easy to break. I used too long of screws the first time, and part of the side came up, away from the attachment.
But I got it back in place.

The Pali that I had in it before, always used to run about that hot too, so it doesn't alarm me too much.
