High FSB, What's the advantage???

After unlocking my XP1600+ I have been playing around with different settings to see which is the best performance overclock. It is interesting to see that using a higher FSB, even though it increases more than just cpu speed, doesn't really give all that much of an increase versus using a 133/266 FSB.
We all know that the EV6 bus was a good thing but in reality does it really give you overwhelmingly great results.
Does Sandra throw enough at it to take advantage of the DDR???

Sisoft sandra CPU benchmarks are used to yest the perfromance of the CPU not the bus speed.

Using a higher FSB wont give you any more raw CPU speed so your sandra results wont improove much.

The advantage of running high FSB is that you can run your memory faster. This increase memory bandwith will give a significant performance increase.

If you repeat your tests using some good PC2700 ram at 185fsb you will see a big improovement in memory bandwith intensive applications, imcluding 3Dmark2001.
