dude - rather keep the cpu and replace the board with an nforce2 and change your ram to two sticks of pc3200 to run dual channel - that should end your overclocking woes - im sure an nforce2 mobo is a little more than a cpu but if you sell that gigabyte mobo (evn if you make a loss on it) you should land up better off - and if you can sell the chip too and get yourself a 2500+ you have the best of all worlds in an overclocking sense

my gigabyte couldnt go over 185 fsb and my abit nf7s v2.0 is running at 200fsb for 24/7 operation and can even boot up at over 230fsb for extreme overclocks - and thats with a 2100+ (aiuhb) cpu

The Abit certainly seems the way forward at the moment... anyone had any BAD experiences with this board?

I've had two NF7-S motherboards.

The first one was crap - completely unstable
The second one was fine but undervolted the Vcore by about .075v.

Also my current Epox 8K5A2+ consistantly overclocks my current CPU the highest.
