cpu speed????

any one know why i can get about 4 different given speeds for my cpu in windows, windows its self says im running @ 2.52ghz, 3dmark03 says 2.521ghz, 3dmark01 says 2.47ghz and nvidia system utility says 2.525ghz and willing to bet it says something different in the bios.?? any im just intrigued to y this is, especially the difference with 3dmark01

have you got wincpuid?
what does that report?
differnet programs do give differnet speeds, i dont know why.
If it is actually flucutating that mugh then theres a problem with the FSB clock generator on the motherboard, check what your RAM and FSB speeds are to see if their changing at all.

I wouldnt worry too much about it.

in not worried im just curious, i just think 3dmark01 is retarded but even with the big difference it changes with the change in fsb i think its odd its got a 800mhz difference
