cpu gone crazy

need help? my bartons lost its mind or something. every thing was running fine then i got a BSOD w/ this code 0x00000050 (0xBF75309B, 0x00000000, 0xBF75309B, 0x00000000) then my computer refused to post even after flashing the bios several times, so i was like crap there goes eather my mobo or cpu so i switched cpus w/ another computer and my mobo's working w/ my xp1700 but my xp3000 in my other mobo is posting on the first boot and showing it as running @2600mhz even though the bios is flashed and i cant access anything once i get in the bios cause it freezes. so i got to restart then it doesnt want to post unless you flash the bios again. any one know WTF????

got my machine up and running again, dont know why my cpu went crazy but i let it for about an hour cause i got to fustrated to mess with it, then went back and tried it again and it worked fine, even odder is it seems to be overclocking better, so if any one knows what's up and what caused this give me a yell
