Of the current boards, my choice would be the DFI Ultra Infinity.

if your staying with Epox, 8RDA3 or 8RDA3+. + has SATA, dual lan and
IEEE.
Dod's DFI died, not a review, stuf happens. I'll look see if the 8rda3 has
holes for your H2o cooling

dang, no holes. me, I am not liking the 4 hole way.
looks like my board is deformed under the cpu. DD
has a mounting bracket I want to try. uses the 3
lugs/side.
ABIT NF7's come with holes. A-Open also. since I
don't have any of these boards, it's not a qualified
recommendation. just some ideas

I think this year might be a good year for DFI same as abit and epox ruled on AMD platform last year. The infinity boards ARE looking good - I was going to try an RMA swap for my dead NF7-S to a DFI and it didnt happen but might pick me one up anyway

Got to say I really like the NF7S rev2. Very stable.

The DFI was loooking promising till it went and died. 250 FSB straight out of the box. Damn thing died at 200.

No they're their own company.

Get the Infinity NFII. No doubt, it's the best K7 board, right now.

My vote is for the NF7-S as well but personally, I'd spend the extra £5 and get one with all the bits! It would be a real pain to get one thats already been opened and missing the I/O shield say.
Just my £0.02 worth.

Laz.

The new DFI's are the best on the market at the moment, they are hitting speeds that only modded boards can only dream of hitting

My 8RGA+ has become very unstable, fortunately I was planning on replacing it anyhow.

I've just ordered a DFI Lanparty NF2 Ultra B. I was considering an Abit AN7 until I read bad reports about it.

I've still to be convinced about "the best" part . There seem to be issues about relatively low bandwidth at high FSB with the infinity. Depending on who you read there is also disappointing 3d performance with certain cards. Some of them seem to be picky about the type of ram used. LOL looks like any other motherboard

There's no doubt though that they are hitting huge FSB's. I've heard of one booting at 270

Mine's still off for RMA but if it get's refused I'm not sure I'll get another one. I'll probably get another Epox or Abit.

apparently they have some kind of Winbond interface, High FSB are only obtainable with winbond memory chips.

I have seen accounts of 280mhz fsb with WC NB from the B revision lanparty.
