it crashed right after i clicked post reply lol , brought fsb to 199, resulting freq 198, runing stable cough so far
CRASHED, 196 fsbx11 runs pretty stable, i think its the mem stick, but couldnt it be the motherboard somehow?

It could actually be the combination of the mobo and RAM. So mobos just don't like some brands of RAM. The fact that you weren't able to POST after setting the multi suggests that you have a multi-locked CPU (major ). I'm not familiar with your board, so I am really limited in what I can offer you in the way of advice. Someone else with a bit more knowledge should drop in, though.

you know what im happy this is my first time OC a computer and i bought a 2500+ and when i boot in post it shows 3200+ im very happy, thanx everyone for support and a great forum. Im going to buy another CPU for a friend is there a way to know if its locked or unlocked? its most likely going to be another athlon amd
