nvFirewall and nvRAID

I want to implement nvfirewall and nvraid in my system.

Where do I start? Literally?

Is the software and config wizards part of the nforce driver??

And I wanted to know if RAID 0 actually makes a performance difference

nvraid is a BIOS/driver combo for Windows. You start by installing the driver in Windows, then set the RAID array up from the BIOS menu (follow the onscreen instructions).

nvfirewall is implemented in hardware but configured using software you find on your Epox install disc. I've not used it though so can't say how easy it is to use.

RAID0 will give you a little bit less than twice the read performance of the slowest disc in the array. Write performance depends on filesystem, but it's usually a little under twice the speed of a single disc write. Various people have posted their raid performances on AOA. Do a search for RAID and you'll find some.

My mobo: ePox 8kda3J nforce3 250gb

I was looking through the EPOX driver CD and couldn't find any firewall software, which is why I posted. What is it called? I only found RAID software.
can I convert partitions into RAID 0 without formatting? If I need to format (or if it's best for performance) are there any straightforward ways of backing up my windows environment in a way that allows me to restore it to a RAID drive?

Your responses would be greatly appreciated as I know how n00bish these questions are

The firewall software is installed with the nforce platform drivers - there's an option to install it near the end of the installation process. You may need updated drivers to enable this option.
