Venice and San Diego cores available

Overclockers.co.uk are selling the 2 new Athlon64 cores so if you want to ensure which core you recieve take a look.

I guess the question is: Does the new San Diego core with its 1 Mb L2 cache perform as well as the much more expensive FX-55, which sports the same 1 Mb L2 cache?

Thanks for the info, Graham!

all things the same Venice/San diego are a tiny bit faster due to SSE3 support(more when software is coded for it) and the enhanced memory controller(which was mostly to run 4 double sided dimms at 1T). I know they run a touch hotter, but not a biggie.
