DFI NForce 4

hey all!!

ive read a few reviews of DFIs nforce 4 lanparty mobos, all the reviewers love them, but in the real world, how are they doing? who has them, what are they like?

cheers all

also, can anyone point me to an explanation of how FSBs etc work on nforce4 these days... my knowledge is limited to the was it works on the epox 8rda+.. classic nforce 2. i gather running FSB and ram in sync is no longer the way to go, as ram generally cannot keep up with FSB the processor will take? will me in

(last one, my PC3200 twinmos sticks will still work on newer mobos right? ram hasnt changed?)

Thanks!

Thumbs up

Hi,

Well i'm not to strong in the technical department but i can tell you that its an Awesome board, from looks to performance!

So far its Holding stable with my small OC, i havent had time to Oc it any higher so far,

Plenty of upgrade options aswell.
Also you can do what i'm going to get the Ultra-D version of the board and then do a simple pencil mod to turn it into the SLI version,

The Layour good to- doesnt cause any problems...

and yeh your ram will work in it

Question

I have read of people running an OC of over 300 on the DFI nF4 LP Ultra mobo.

I do not have any hands on expierence with these mobo's so my advice would be for you to read the better forums and reviewers of such things.

This will allow you to make up your mind easier. Hope this helps.
