overclockers nightmare

hi guys,i had a thread b4 about this problem.i have a Msi nforce 2 ultra LSr board,with 2500+ Barton.i managed to oc the board upto 185fsb stable,but then it all started going wrong.now im running at stock speed,166fsb,this is the only way the board will run.Has anyone had any luck overclocking this board with success,if so,give me the bios settings.this cpu is not locked as i hat it running at 185 in my Soltek board.thanks.

Genius 5.1 scard
Logitech z5300 5.1 280watts
Gigabyte 9000pro
Hynix 2x256 ddr400
Ocz powerstream 520Watt psu
Maxtor 80gig hdrive
Cnet proG 2000s gigabit nic
Leadtek Xpert tv tuner card

running with Ati 5.6 drivers and Xp Sp 2.

Hi Gman!
I don't think that statement is entirely true I had my Sempron running at 195 fsb at multi = 12 and IT IS locked.. A locked CPU means a CPU who's multiplier can't be changed to a bigger/smaller value.
Check if your memory timings are too tight on the new board and also check if your PCI/AGP lock is working. Get Clockgen for NForce 2 and raise the fsb by a small value and see if the PCI and AGP frequencies are raising too. If not..than it's ok, if they are upping than you must find in BIOS some setting that locks the PCI/AGP frequencies at 33/66 Mhz and try again your OC'ing thing Also check your temps and voltages to be ok for your CPU.
