EPoX EP-9NDA3J

1)im getting the EPoX EP-9NDA3J and will be using a xp-90 heatsink. Does this mobo like heatsinks other than the stock ones? I used to have an abi- av8 and that gave annoying beeps when i used the xp-90 with it because it was not detecting the fan speed. Those of you with the epox, does it boot up with a different heatsinks without a hitch?

2)also, does it come with a bios that supports winchesters?

1. Yes the xp 90 fits quite well. What fan are you using?

2. Yes it supports Winchesters, Venice cores too with the 4-14 bios.

Question

Usually when you fail to plug the cpu fan into the proper header. The bios cannot pick up the fan turning so you will get the beeps. That is a warning that your hs/fan is not working properly. We have an Abit AV8 and never had a problem, I just removed the Epox 9NDA3J and sold it, replaced it with the DFI LP UT nF3 Ultra D, because I wanted a system that performs up to my standards. The Epox may be fine for you, it was a breeze to setup, it is a board that if you plug everything into its proper place it will run.
