What brand motherboard do you have. Most now include some form of monitoring software. Such as Abit's uGuru and Gigabyte's EasyTune.

As for will you notice a difference. Depends how far you overclock. Generally faster load times. There many others here more knowledagble about such things. I just do it because I can.

Depends on your goals. For gaming, I would actually tend to recommend Aquamark 3. 3DMark05 is very heavily influenced by the video card.

However, before you go cranking too far, you need to check your temps. Asus provides a utility to overclock, adjust fan speeds, and monitor system temps unless I am mistaken.

One other thing, Aquamark results wil vary depending on your video cards. Please, for future reference, it is best to list out your system components and brands of such to really get some good advice on what to do. Otherwise, it is guess work and a clear setup for failure.

Okay, you and I have the same MOBO so I would suggest that you allow the Nvidia Overclockinng program called ASUS AI Booster. This program is pretty reliable and will back off if things get wierd. Use it for awhile until you get a chance to review more about overclocking and the ins and outs.
