Can anyone confirm for me that this is a newark athlon 64?

If so does anyone know if it will work in an abit kv8-pro?

Thanks

I'm ignorant, can you tell us what kind of processor this is, please? "Newark" is new to me.

it's an athlon 64 mobile processor for the 754 socket based on the 90nm process, making it a particularly good overclocker.

So, is the up to date AMD Opteron 144 really almost the same as the FX-57, if you overlook the Clock Speed?

Yup, but it has a better memory controller than the A64

Are, or were the FX-57's the most high performance Athlon 64's available? And didn't they cost a fortune? Like ~$900?
