Weird Mouse

Hi guys

Got an old MSI Socket A motherboard and just starting to have problems with my mouse. I have a Logitech mouse and the left mouse button just stopped working alfter rebooting from a crash. Now I just thought it was the mouse, however just tried a brand new one I had lying around and that also had the same problem. I have tried it on USB and PS2. Alfter rebooting about ten times the new one seems to work just about.

Any ideas would be cool

Thanks

See if your mouse is turned on in BIOS. Or you may have lost a mouse driver in the crash.

If there is a setting for "USB mouse emulate PS/2 mouse" or something similar in the BIOS, try turning it on (or off!). I've found it to be troublesome in the past.

Or, like me, you may have a damaged PS/2 Port.
