New computer ocing ability

Im planning on building (links below) in a few weeks and woundering the ocing potential of the system with stock cooling but good case flow (plz give me some core clocks for cpu and rounded numbers for the graphics card ex ***/****)

go for an opty at 1.8Ghz instead it will go much further, get a good zalman heatsink.

thanks for suggestions but I have no more money then what im spending above. I need to know the ocing potential and if that gc will run most games on low to mediem settings.

should get to about 2.2 Ghz-2.4Ghz, I would still say go with the opty as you will get from 2.6-2.9Ghz for only about $30 more.

I was just checking out the opty processor and what kind o mobo do i get... there are no mobos on newegg that say opty capability

AFAIK the Socket 939 Opteron will work in all Socket 939 Athlon 64 motherboards

Here are two other good DRAMs in your price range to consider.

OCZ Platinum r2 EL pc 3200

Patriot pc 3200

These are likely to support an overclock to 2400 MHz (Patriot could be a little higher). If you had a few more dollars, however, it would be good to go up to a higher speed rating like pc 4000, or 4200 to let out the full OC potential of that Opteron you decided on.
