| thanks for suggestions but I have no more money then what im spending above. I need to know the ocing potential and if that gc will run most games on low to mediem settings.

| should get to about 2.2 Ghz-2.4Ghz, I would still say go with the opty as you will get from 2.6-2.9Ghz for only about $30 more.

| I was just checking out the opty processor and what kind o mobo do i get... there are no mobos on newegg that say opty capability

| AFAIK the Socket 939 Opteron will work in all Socket 939 Athlon 64 motherboards

| Here are two other good DRAMs in your price range to consider. OCZ Platinum r2 EL pc 3200 http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/Produc...ductCode=85200 Patriot pc 3200 http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/Produc...ductCode=83748 These are likely to support an overclock to 2400 MHz (Patriot could be a little higher). If you had a few more dollars, however, it would be good to go up to a higher speed rating like pc 4000, or 4200 to let out the full OC potential of that Opteron you decided on.
